Creative multi-channel advertising campaign for Uber Eats in Germany

Uber Germany GmbH ran a creative advertising campaign across six German cities to boost awareness of its food delivery app, Uber Eats. The selected cities were Halle (Saale), Wilhelmshaven, Wolfsburg, Zwickau, Freiburg im Breisgau and Schwerin. The campaign combined several advertising formats, including bicycle saddle covers, flyer distribution, transport advertising and a photo booth, to ensure broad reach. A key offer was a €30 discount on the first two orders, at €15 per order.

Saddle covers: In each of the six cities, 5,000 saddle covers were distributed to target cyclists directly. Distribution took place in locations with high cycling traffic, such as city centres, weekly markets and educational institutions. Special logistical adjustments allowed for flexible resource allocation between cities, depending on local cycling activity.

Flyer distribution: An experienced team of promoters carried out a comprehensive flyer distribution campaign to increase brand awareness and win new customers. The flyers featured information about the Uber Eats offer and the discount mentioned above.

Transport advertising and photo booth: Transport advertising and a photo booth were also used to capture the target audience’s attention and make the campaign more interactive.
